Via Susan Polgar comes news that the UMBC Team, led by GM Alex Onischuk has taken their record 7th Pan American Intercollegiate Chess Tournament! Canadian Champion IM Pascal Charbonneau was also on the winning squad from Baltimore. Pascal is quoted as saying "That always sort of feels good, to beat a school like Harvard," commenting on the teams sweep against Harvard.

Pascal wasn't the only Canadian representative, the University of Toronto had a team taking part.
