Chess Books on Google

Via Threadwatch comes this method for reading books on Google for free!

The author of the method, Steve Rubel was using a little known feature of the search at  Google Books  to read tech and travel guides online. I wondered if the same trick would work with the many chess books at Google. It does! With about the same 70% success rate that Rubel experienced with other titles.

You do need to be logged in with a Google account to try this. Rubel fully explains the technique with some screen shots on his post.

Happy reading!

Thanks for the note. I had dicovered something similar but did not realize how extensive was the available content. Oh, how I regret all the chess books I've bought for a few pages of useful content, now that I discover those pages available online for free!
