I'm way out of my league in the 2006 British Columbia CC Championship.
Play on the ICCF Web server got under way back on New Years Day and the games have just gone live with the first results.

This is my first loss in the tournament, and it won't be the last one. My trusty old copy of the 'Batsford Chess Openings' kept me in the game until around move 8. However, by move twelve I was heading for trouble - not recognising that my Bishop was hemmed-in by my own Pawns.

Here I played the developing move 12...Nd7 which was followed by 13. e4 and my Bishop is a gonner.
